POOL OPENING PARTY - MAY 28

WATER AEROBICS  - STARTING MAY 31 

Water Aerobics will be held again this year.  Barb Gaetos, Conservatory resident and certified instructor is volunteering her time.  This class is free to residents. Class meets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning at 845 AM May 31.

NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALES - JUNE 3-4

CONSERVATORY NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALES - Run your own garage sale as you see fit. We will advertise on Nextdoor, Facebook, on the HOA website, in the HOA newsletter, and on Garagesalefinder.com.

Angie Jeltai, Realtor with Remax and Olga Zagulova, Mortgage Loan Officer with Fairway Mortgage will be sponsoring a drive for donations for Ukrainian humanitarian aid and refugees. The following is a list of acceptable items:

  • Adult & kids: clothing, shoes, socks, toys, blankets (new or gently used)

  • Diapers, batteries, flashlights, matches, trash bags

  • Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving products

  • Pasta, rice, flour, sugar, non-perishable foods with a long shelf life

  • Bandages, tourniquet, pain relief, first aid, burn cream, personal care items for women

Angie and Olga will circulate to collect these items. All the collection details will be in the June newsletter.

SPRING CLEANUP, PAPER SHREDDING & E-WASTE RECYCLING

8:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 11

Frontier P-8 School Parking Lot

You can dispose of large items and extra yard waste in the 3 dumpsters that will be located at the parking lot located behind Frontier School on Saturday, June 11,  from 8:30 am—11:30 am.  The dumpsters will not be arriving until 8 AM.  So, please DO NOT arrive before that time! 

While we will have volunteers there to help with unloading, anyone willing to volunteer to help would be welcomed.  Please email socialcomchoa@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer.

 

Since this is a neighborhood event, proof of residency will be strictly enforced!  Therefore, you will need to bring a current driver’s license, a water bill or rent receipt showing your name and address.

NON-ACCEPTABLE WASTE:

  • Electronics

  • Tires/lawn mowers/auto parts/oil/gas

  • Wet paint

  • Medical waste

  • Anything with Freon or Gas/refrigerators/ freezers

  • Florescent light bulbs

  • Hazardous Waste

  • Batteries

  • Propane tanks

Again, this year we are also able to have on-site paper shredding and E-Waste Recycling available for our residents thanks to Tatyana Sturm.  Tatyana is a local realtor with The Storck Team who is sponsoring the shredding and e-waste recycling.  These services will also be available from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at the parking lot located in front of Frontier School.  The following rules apply for these services:

On-Site Paper Shredding:  NO x-rays, large binder clips, or 3-ring binders.

E-Waste Recycling acceptable items:

  • Computers/Laptops

  • Printers

  • Keyboards and cables

  • Cell phones

  • Flat Screen/LCDs

  • TVs and CRTs (Additional fee applies*)

* TVs and CRT Monitors under 48" - $40 each

* TVs and CRT Monitors over 48" - $60 each

* Console/Projection TVs - $100 each

  • ONLY checks and cash accepted for fee items

No Appliances will be accepted.

FOOD TRUCK NIGHT - JUNE 11, 2022:

Food truck night!  We will be reaching out to a handful of trucks to have them come to the clubhouse with music, laughter & friends!

 

MOVIE AT THE POOL - JULY 16

Movie on the pool night! This will be starting a bit later to make sure that it is darker for the movie.  The movie playing will be family friendly! We will have more details on this event going forward.

 

BACK TO SCHOOL AT THE POOL - AUGUST 13

Back to School!  We will be having a video game truck & pizza truck as well as a school supply drive!

Pool closing party!!  Sub sandwiches, chips and soda/juices to be served.
